Understanding the Process
Each Project Dictates How Much Designers Adapt
Each Project Dictates How Much Designers Adapt
Over my nearly 20 year career, I have worked on hundreds of projects, each with their own goals and objectives. What ties all of these projects together is the need for a coherent strategy for designing a user interface.
My role has differed depending on the company I’ve worked for and the strength of the team I was on. At different times I have had to put on multiple hats – researcher, wireframe designer, prototype designer, and visual designer. Being put in these roles has helped inform how I develop the code for these interfaces.
Doctor X is a mobile app that allows visitors to request a doctor for an in-home visit. This was an early stage prototype that helped the client visualize the flow of the application.
Uncorked.com is a Magento powered e-commerce website. I was tasked with redesigning the website from the ground up. I created these wireframes to begin grouping content areas into a cohesive framework.
Finfit develops a suite of financial tools for employees. I was tasked with creating user flows for a redesigned interface.
Using Sketch, I created user flows for creating an account, logging in as an existing user, creating a financial profile, and interacting with the dashboard.
